Horrible design. Somebody read what were decent drivers and threw them in a box. Probably all bought due to reviews at McGee Radio.

i worked at McGee Radio.

we did not 'review speakers'.

and yes, some things taken out of context,

like the 'white cones, for better bass',

caused mirth among my friends,

we knew that ad copy,

in a (low cost) news print catalog,

were not white papers.

and the four owners took too much work upon themselves.

where else could a person buy these things at what was a relatively low price?
